The best net-worth trackers in Europe (2026)

If you live in Europe and hold a mix of stocks, cash, maybe some property and some crypto, tracking your whole net worth is surprisingly hard. The polished apps are mostly built for the US, the free tools are manual, and "privacy" is usually an afterthought. Here's an honest look at the realistic options in 2026: what each is good at, and how to choose.

What to look for in Europe specifically

A fair word on each

Kubera is the closest thing to a dedicated net-worth tracker: banks, brokerages, crypto, DeFi, even physical assets, with a clean interface and a "Life Beat" beneficiary hand-off feature. It's genuinely good, and priced like it (around $249/year, plus a $2,499/year Black tier), with no free tier beyond a 14-day trial, and your data sits in its shared cloud. We wrote a full head-to-head if it's on your shortlist.

Finary is the strongest EU-native option besides Krosos: French-built, polished, with open-banking aggregation and crypto support, on a freemium model. The free tier is capped at two account connections, with paid plans from ~€55/year and Plus at ~€150/year. If you're comfortable with a venture-backed app holding your data in a shared system, it's a solid choice; the detailed comparison walks the differences.

Monarch is excellent, if you're American. Its budgeting and bank sync are best-in-class on US rails, but European coverage is limited and the value drops sharply outside the US (the full comparison covers when it still makes sense).

Portfolio Performance is a free, open-source desktop app beloved by serious DIY investors for its performance maths (true time-weighted return, IRR). It's investment-focused rather than whole-net-worth, has no automatic sync, and has a learning curve, but it's free and your data never leaves your computer.

A spreadsheet is the honest baseline: flexible, free, private, and entirely manual. No live prices, no sync, and it quietly goes stale the week you get busy.

How to choose

Where Krosos fits

Krosos is the private, EU-built way to see everything in one number: stocks, cash, funds and property, plus crypto (exchanges and on-chain wallets), minus the mortgage and loans against them. The difference under the hood is that every customer gets their own isolated database with its own encryption keys, not a row in a shared database, and connections are read-only, so the app can never move your money. Bank sync via open banking and broker sync (Trading 212, Interactive Brokers) are live. It's €6/month (or €60/year), with a 14-day free trial and one-click export if you ever want to leave.

Read how your data is protected, see everything it connects to and how the tax engine works (Belgian readers: the new 10% capital gains tax), or, if connecting accounts makes you nervous, is it safe to connect exchange API keys?

If what you actually want to know is when the money would let you stop working, the forecast calculator is free and needs no account: we used it to show what the 4% rule leaves out in Europe.
